On March 27, 2020, the president signed the CARES Act into law, which, among other things, provides broad relief for federal student loan borrowers. As of Aug. 1, 2020, both the suspension of student loan payments provided under the CARES Act and a temporary 0% interest rate are scheduled to end Sept. 30, 2020. In the coming weeks, you’ll receive more information from your loan servicer about the end of the payment suspension.

These measures include regular reviews and audits of operational procedures, internal documentation, client requirements, and industry and Federal laws and regulations.
